Which iPhone 12 Should You Buy? iPhone 12 Series At-A-Glance

Which iPhone 12 Should You Buy, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Features

With Apple releasing its latest family of iPhone series, things can be a bit confusing. Especially if you’re new to iPhones and Apple in general. This series comes in four models which are obviously different from one another but share the new and improved features that the line has to offer.

Apple iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max vary in screen sizes, colors, camera set up and storage limits. But everyone in this family is future-proof with 5G connectivity.

Apple also somehow brought back the flat edges and boxy design of the iPhone 5S! And who would’ve thought that it would actually look sleek and elegant in today’s era of phones? Its physical attributes sure bring a lot of good memories!

Looking at the newest kids on the block, despite their differences, one thing is for certain: these bad boys are here to prove something.

The Basics: iPhone 12 And iPhone 12 Mini

These two models are basically the same except for their size. iPhone 12 Mini, as the name suggests, is the smallest of the family. It sports a 5.4-inch display while 12 has a 6.1-inch display that is both protected by Ceramic Shield technology on the front and Gorilla Glass on the rear, held together by aluminum frames. According to Apple, this technology is more resistant to cracks and scratches.

When it comes to specs and features, Mini is almost patterned to iPhone 12. Both are powered by Apple 14 Bionic and future-proofed with 5G connection. They are also both integrated with dual-camera systems with ultra-wide angle and wide lenses.

All-in-all, these two are almost identical inside, with only one exception: the battery. Since the iPhone 12 Mini is smaller than the iPhone 12, it also has a smaller battery shell, hence, a smaller battery capacity.

Needless to say, these two are the most affordable phones in the family.

The Pros: iPhone 12 Pro And iPhone 12 Pro Max

As expected, these Pro models kept all the features of a basic iPhone 12 and took them up a notch while boasting attributes and specs that are only exclusive to them.

If you love mobile photography, you’ll love the triple camera system that iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max have. It added a telephoto camera to the ultra-wide and standard lenses that a basic iPhone 12 has. This allows you to zoom 4x for iPhone 12 Pro and 5x for iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Apple also heeds the clamor of many to further improve its camera system in low-light settings. iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger image sensor that allows more light to come in to capture cleaner and sharper images in the dark.

iPhone Pro models eye-candy display measures 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. These overwhelmingly good Super Retina XDR display screens will allow you to appreciate more the photos and videos that you’ll take with iPhone’s sophisticated cameras.

The builds of these Pros are also stronger than ever. Thanks to the stainless-steel frame and Ceramic Shield technology and Gorilla Glass protection.

Final Take

If you’re looking to buy an iPhone 12 right now, these are only some of the cool features and specs that we know you’ll love. But if you want to dig deeper inside and see its full specs, you can check it here.

But overall, you could say that this 5G family of iPhones arguably won the year 2020. Besides the top-notch cameras, durable frames, eye-candy screens, and powerful systems, these iPhones come in style, too. The basic 1Phone 12s sports fun new colors like blue, green, red, white, and black. On the other hand, the Pro models come in more elegant-looking colors like silver, graphite, gold, and pacific blue.
