PNP Brings Christmas Magic To Your Smartphone

Christmas Magic

Christmas Magic

As adults, it is easy to forget the magic that Christmas holds for our little ones. Especially for those who are on the fence and not so sure they believe in Ol’ Saint Nick or not. The folks over at PNP (Portable North Pole) apparently understands the magic this season brings. They have developed a platform that allows anyone to create a personalized video for their loved ones that has the quality of a Hollywood production and really captures the magic of Christmas.

Portable North Pole

I only recently became aware of PNP and was surprised to learn that more than 150 million video messages from PNP have been viewed by Santa fans around the world since it launched in 2008. The company provides both Christmas and Birthday greetings and what’s really cool is that they are free. There is also a paid option but more about that later.

The free App is available in the App Store and this is where the story begins. The app opens in the “Parent’s Corner”.  From here you can Create Video, Create a phone call, go to My Creations or view your account. You can also go to the Kids Corner where you can access Santa’s messages. There is also a memory game and Talking, and Tree Shaker novelties for the kids.

Create Your Own Christmas Magic

“Create Video” allows you to create a free video or choose to unlock Premium Videos and receive unlimited videos with more personalizations and photos. When you create a video you are presented with a list of questions, like the child’s name and birthday, city and state, and what you would like Santa to say to your child.

You can unlock premium videos for $8.99.  For $12.99 you can make unlimited videos, receive unlimited phone calls from Santa, receive a free video from Santa every week in December, and gain the ability to download your videos to your camera roll.

I couldn’t resist so I signed up after making the free video. After all, my little girl will only be six once and the look on her face when Santa addressed her by name, displayed her photo with her, birthday, city and state in his Big Book” and told her she needed to try harder with her homework was priceless.

We’ve come a long way since paper greeting cards.  Check out PNP in the App Store and in the Google Play store.  And check out this free video I created in a couple of minutes for my daughter. Happy Ho Ho Ho to you!
