Turn Your Desk Into a Studio
The new all in one PC by Microsoft was unveiled last week, in New York and as expected, it looks simply beautiful.
The PC might not be attractive at first sight for every kind of user but all the artists, illustrators, and draftsmen and women are going to love it. Specifically for its folding stand which makes it bend to 20 degrees resulting in the PC becoming the surface for you to express all your imagination. If you were a fan of using a sheet of paper to have the perfect angle to work on, you’d love the 28-inch adjustable screen which has more or less 13.5 million pixels.
The Surface Studio For Creatives
Your creative process is going to get enhanced once you touch the Surface Dial. The Surface Dial would be placed directly onto the Surface’s screen and once it touches the screen, a color wheel would appear, letting all the architects, designers, and animators choose the perfect colors to work with. The ability to zoom into the details is attractive as architects need to check each and every centimeter a million times in a minute. People who work mainly with CAD are going to fall in love with the Surface at first sight.
The 980M graphics show how powerful the Microsoft Surface Studio is. It can run anything you wish for example Adobe Premiere Pro, Solidworks, and Autodesk etc. However, the Surface Studio can’t be made to lay down flat is certainly something that would make some users still uncomfortable while working on it.
For those who are more into drawing with a pen, the Surface Pen would do the job. Fan of taking notes on your PC? Click the top of the Pen, which will launch the Windows Ink Workspace for you to write anything at any time. You won’t have to worry about keeping the Surface Pen separately or the fear of losing it as it will attach magnetically to the Microsoft Surface Studio’s Screen.
Gorgeous but Pricy
There is no doubt about the Surface Studio being absolutely gorgeous but you can tell that there certainly are similarities with the iMac in terms of appearance.
The Surface Studio can be pre-ordered now, starting at $2,990. The more luxurious models go til $4,990. The Surface Dial, however, will be available on its own beginning November 10th for $99.
For the elite, Microsoft certainly has succeeded in creating something new and exciting which will help their creativity flow without any obstacles!
