Microsoft Surface Membership Plan
Microsoft has recently followed the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program in setting the trend of offering installment plans for small business so they can afford the latest Microsoft hardware products in time. This offer will allow small businesses to avoid heavy payments for Surface hardware.
Apple launched this program the previous year and managed to land online support a few months ago. Following suite, Microsoft is now offering latest Surface devices, accessories, training and support at the financial price of just $32.99 per month. The service is available on old and new models alike, including surface 3, surface 4 and surface book. According to Microsoft plans, as the models hit the shelves, the update will be made available.
The Surface memberships have been introduced such that it covers not only the hardware but also the setup, training programs, elaborate service plans and Accidental Damage Protection. The monthly installments might differ as it depends on upon the size and type of the order and the agreed period of payment which may range from 18 to 30 months. However, the most financially economical are the Surface Pro 3 that costs you $33 monthly over a period of 30 months. In comparison, if we consider the most pricey version of this offer, it will be $221 per month, but it will give you the Surface Book that has the flashy features of 1TB hard drive, Intel i7 processor, and 16GB RAM.
From a bird’s eye view of this scheme, the Surface Book will cost a total of $3,978 over the period of 30 months. The other option will be to sign up for the two-year plan and no bundled deals, taking this course will cost you $3,448 for Surface Book.
This offer also gives members the added advantage of getting discounts on future purchases of hardware. They are allowed to stay a member and a free of cost Microsoft Complete Business package. This business package gives the members four years of extended hardware support in case of any mishap. However with this added feature, it must be brought to light that the package cost is a little higher than what customers pay for the desired hardware outright. Given the membership perks, it will be safe to consider it all worth it.
The critical point of this Microsoft Surface offer is that it is primarily meant for businesses and not to facilitate personal use. This offer is aimed at introducing and promoting the use of Microsoft Surface hardware in offices and new small-scale startups. However, it will still allow you to purchase a single unit instead of a large number under this offer.
The policy requires you to be approved for the membership plan for which one must get it through Microsoft’s financing partner LiftForward. Once your business meets the limits set by LiftForward, the credits are looked through and approved and you sign the agreement it generates for you. It will assist you in taking care of the monthly installments as all payments go through it.
