When I was asked if I’d like to go hunting for the first time, I was excited, as it’s something I’d thought of doing for quite some time. However, the moment I said yes, I realized that I had literally nothing in terms of gear. Sure, I had a hunting rifle – where I live everyone does – but I couldn’t go in my regular clothes, so I turned to a company called Fin Feather Fur to help me out.
I’m a relative novice to this kind of thing, so I was expecting to have a bit of trouble finding everything. That worry couldn’t have been further from the truth, as I found when I had a look around their website.
Scent Blocker Gloves
The first item I placed in my basket when shopping with Fin Feather Fur was a nifty pair of scent blocker shield S3 touch text gloves, which feel great on and offer a nice tactile feel. I quickly followed that with a groovy Browning cotton baseball cap to keep the sun out of my eyes. Nice and easy start. It had to get harder, right?
Costa Del Mar Polarized Sunglasses
In my mind, the next logical product to look at was a good pair of hunting glasses and I quickly found a great pair of Costa Del Mar Fish polarized sunglasses. I’d read somewhere that polarized light makes you squint and if out hunting for several hours, this would quickly lead to a headache.
In practice, they make my eyes super comfortable and they make focusing on the target much easier than it is with the naked eye – even when the sun reflects off of the water and other shiny surfaces.
Browing Hydro-Fleece Jacket
I finished shopping with Fin Feather Fur by nabbing myself a really nice Browning Hydro-Fleece jacket, as the advertising and reviews showed it to be great for keeping you warm and dry. I can attest to the fact that it does both, no matter what the weather.
Trying to keep warm AND dry without technology like this means wearing more layers, which then risks sweating from the inside. My Browning jacket more than had me covered.
I’ll Be Going Back to Fin Feather Fur Again Soon!
I’ve since gotten really into hunting. I only wish I’d started sooner. The fact is that if I knew how affordable and easy it was to get quality hunting gear, I probably would have done.
The company is great at aftercare too, as I had cause to give them a call with an issue I had with my jacket. It was a minor thing, but I needed advice and they were delighted to help me, giving me expert advice that really worked. I wish every retailer was so accommodating.
So, with all this in mind, I have no qualms at all about recommending this great outdoor gear company. I can say with certainty that I’ll be going back soon!.
