If you are a regular purchaser of books through the iBooks application you might be familiar with this issue; having to hide books which have outdated content such as iOS 7 or iOS 8 user guides or other material that can be classed as time sensitive.
However, it is easy to hide the iBooks that you have stored in your iCloud so that they are not displayed in your iBooks library. This is so easy and it can even be done through the iBooks application on your iOS device.
There are just a few simple steps that you need to follow to hide your iCloud books and in this post, we will give you a step by step tutorial to do so.
Step 1: Start your iBooks application.
Step 2: Now in the iBooks application tap on the “My Books” tab.
Step 3: Now select the “All Books” option. It is a drop down menu which is located at the top of the interface.
Step 4: Now click on the “Hide iCloud Books” switch and switch it to the “off” position.
Now any book that you have stored in your iCloud and has not yet been downloaded will be hidden. However if you want to display a few of the selective books from your iCloud then you should ensure that you have selected the cloud’s download button before you go around to hiding any of your iCloud books.
This trick is especially handy for those people who have a lot of books on their iCloud. It will help you ti keep your library clean and tidy and help you keep track of all the books that you have read and those that you haven’t.
If you have purchased a book that you want to hide, that is also super easy and can be done in only five easy steps through your Mac device.
Step 1: Open iBooks.
Step 2: Now go to the iBooks store.
Step 3: Now from the right-hand side’s Quick Links’ list select “Purchased link”.
