Goldvish: The World's Most Expensive Smartphone

Most Expensive Smartphone

There are many people that I know that would never pay as much as 700 dollars for a phone. Therefore, many of those people don’t have smartphones. While the price range of a typical smartphone these days can be from $300 – $700, it can still hurt one’s wallet. But what about a smartphone that costs more or about the same as an average car? How would you react to a smartphone placed at such a price?

The Goldvish Eclipse

That’s where the world’s most expensive smartphone comes into play. The Goldvish Eclipse, the most expensive smartphone in the world, is a piece of pure uniqueness, elegance, innovation, and beauty. This thing is by far more fancy than any other smartphone in the market at the moment. You can compare this thing to a Maserati, a Lamborghini, or even a Ferrari.

Goldvish claims that each one of these precious smartphones is hand-crafted by their expert craftsmen in Switzerland and are made with some of the finest materials available. The workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds use these materials to make these custom phones in the best way possible ensuring great quality, appearance, and proper certification.

Under The Hood

The Swiss-made smartphone runs the CyanogenMod operating system, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It weighs only 8.47 ounces, carries a Full HD 1080p resolution 5.5-inch display with 401 pixels per inch. The 13MP rear shooter contains 6 lenses and a Dual-LED flash with the ability to take 4K video and 720p slow motion video. The front of the phone scores a 5MP front-facing camera capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps.

The Eclipse holds many of the basic smartphone tools such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, dual-speakers, SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11. It charges using a Micro USB 2.0 cable and carries a 3100mAh Lithium-polymer battery giving the phone up to 14 hours of talk time and 288 hours of standby time all running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core 2.5 GHz processor with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

The Pricy Parts

While this phone may seem pretty basic, the most expensive part is the outside. The price of the phone ranges from an astonishing €6,800 to €32,800. This means that in US dollars, it would be from around $7,500 to $36,400. I would much rather buy a car with that kind of money. The lowest-priced Eclipse is the Dazzling Mocca Alligator version which contains an exotic brown alligator leather back, an anodized aluminum frame, and polished 316L stainless steel accents on the back. The highest-priced Eclipse is the Diamond Heaven Black Alligator version which sports an all black alligator leather back with an anodized aluminum frame, the same stainless steel accents but this time with 360 individual diamonds placed on top. Yes, diamonds.

Each of these phones can be engraved with up to 30 characters. Remember that the prices of each phone are set before any taxes or shipping costs. Check it out here: (!collection-1/es4e2)
