The TaiG jailbreak tool for iOS 8.1.1 is the Apple devices-related news of the week. Developed by a group of Chinese hackers – we’ve got the English translation for TaiG – the tool can easily jailbreak all iPhones, iPads, and the iPod touch (fifth generation) on iOS 8.1.1:

  • iPhone: 6, 6 Plus, 5s, 5c, 5, 4S
  • iPad: 2, 3, 4, Air, Air 2, mini, mini 2, mini 3
  • iPod touch: fifth-generation, latest model

We have covered TaiG in more detail in our post on how to jailbreak iOS 8.1.1, so you can read about it there.

Anyhow, the purpose of this blog post is to share with you the direct links as well as reliable mirrors to download TaiG. The TaiG website itself is a tad unreliable and pretty slow. Downloading the jailbreak tool itself takes several minutes when, on my 7mbps connection, it should take seconds. Plus since the TaiG group is pretty active, they keep releasing TaiG tool updates. As of typing, the latest is v1.0.2, and it comes in at 45.9MB. It includes several bug fixes.

We of course recommend you download TaiG – the latest version of it – from the official website. However, in case the website goes down, we are also linking to mirrors of each version uploaded on MEGA:

Download TaiG jailbreak:

  • v1.0.0.6 (Official | Mirror)
  • v1.0.1.0 (Official | Mirror)
  • v1.0.2.1 (Official | Mirror)
  • English: v1.0.2.1 (Official Website | Mirror)
  • English: v1.2.0 (Official Website | Mirror)

Keep in mind that these download TaiG links are for the Windows desktop app only. TaiG is yet to port it to Mac OS X, Linux, or globalize it with English translations.

We will keep coming back and updating this post with latest download TaiG links as soon as they are available.
