Download Facebook Videos With This New Workflow

Download Facebook videos

So you came across a video on Facebook that you liked, and wanted to save? The default Facebook app doesn’t allow you to download a video, but thanks to a new Workflow that we discovered, you can now download Facebook videos easily on your iOS device.

What is Workflow

Workflow is a powerful automation app for iOS. If you’re familiar with IFTTT, or the Android app ‘Tasker’, then you can appreciate the utility of such an app. Automation apps are powerful and can save you a lot of time and effort by eliminating many repetitive or mundane tasks.

This is done by creating rules. You can set up triggers to fire when a certain event occurs, and you can set up an action on that trigger. A workflow can be as simple as closing certain apps when you turn off your Wi-Fi, or more complex such as making animated GIFs from burst camera photos. You can make your own workflows, or get custom ones made by the community online.

Facebook videos

Thankfully, there’s now a workflow that lets you download Facebook videos. As you all know, Facebook doesn’t allow users to download videos. As a video-sharing platform, Facebook is fast becoming as popular as YouTube, with Billions of pageviews per month. People like to keep within Facebook for watching photos and videos, and that’s where its main strength lies.

Follow these steps to install this workflow;

  1. Get the Workflow app for iOS
  2. Launch Workflow once it has been downloaded
  3. Open up Safari, and click on this link to the Workflow
  4. Tap on ‘Get Workflow’ to download the workflow to your Workflow app on iOS
