Deeper Helps You Find Fish With Your iOS Device

One of the things I miss about living in Florida is fishing.  Florida is a fisherman’s paradise.  Whether your fishing from a boat or off a bridge over Biscayne Bay, or the Florida Keys, or wading in the waters of Sanibel Island or Clearwater, fishing is a great pass time. If you prefer freshwater you have the Everglades, Lake Okeechobee or any one of the thousands of freshwater lakes throughout the state.

I came across a product that blew me away and I couldn’t help but think about how much I would have enjoyed this while living in Florida.  “Deeper” is a first of its kind fish finder that you can cast into the water from a fishing rod or mount to a boat or tie it to a line and drop it into a hole in the Ice if ice fishing is your thing. Wherever it enters the water it scans the surrounding area. You can then open your iOS device, launch the app, and see where the fish are or aren’t.

Deeper uses Sonar to echolocate back to your device where you can distinguish fish from everything else in the water. Deeper will find fish, display water depth provides water temperature and allows you to see the contour of the bottom. It’s suitable for oceans, rivers, lakes, fresh or saltwater.

2.5” in diameter and weighs only 3.5 ounces. It uses Bluetooth to connect to your device.  Pair it once and forget about it. An operating range of 150 feet and an Internet connection is not required. The depth range is from 3 – 150 feet.  Operating temperature range of 4° F – 104°F. It utilizes a lithium polymer battery and provides a micro USB power adapter for charging. A full charge provides four hours of continuous use.

Deeper is compatible with 7000+ iOS and Android devices. Its sonar is powerful enough to function perfectly in depths from 1.5 ft (0.5 m) to ~130 ft (40 m) below the surface in both salt and freshwaters.  It’s smaller and lighter than any other traditional sonar. And it’s specially designed to fit into your tackle box. Your tackle box will never be the same.

The suggested retail price is $229.00 but Amazon has it listed for $194.99.  They also carry the boat mount.

This would make a great gift for the fisherman in your life.
