Best Games Coming in 2023
With 2022 wrapping up, we’re already getting excited about the plethora of video games that will be hitting the shelves next year. From brand-new releases to much-anticipated sequels and even games we’ve been waiting for for a few years now, 2023 will have it all.
Whether you’re a fan of FPS games, love playing Cleopatra at BETMGM, or prefer a deep and winding story, there’s a game for everyone.
Hogwarts Legacy
One of the most anticipated games of 2022 had to be delayed until 2023. Hogwarts Legacy puts you in the shoes of a young wizard who is caught in a raging battle. Like Harry Potter, you’ll need to attend Hogwarts to learn magic to fight the enemies you may come across.
You’ll also be able to explore the magical environment around you, choose a path of good or evil, find and tame magical creatures, and leave your mark on the world.
Company of Heroes 3
Set in Italy and North Africa during WW2, Company of Heroes 3 is another installment in the beloved turn-based strategy game. Fans can expect more of the same gripping action we’ve seen in previous titles, along with a few new features.
A tactical pause system has been introduced for single players, giving you time to plan your next move. A long-needed feature has also been added in the form of dynamic cover: this changes the environment and map, as destruction will change paths, and where you can and can’t hide, as well as force your strategy to change minute by minute.
Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter is widely regarded as one of the best fighting game series ever created. The sixth installment is the first mainline title in over seven years, and Capcom has said that it is set to be the best one yet.
Players can enjoy the same action as they have become accustomed to, as well as World Tour and Battle Hub modes to give you even more to play.

Dead Island 2
After 10 long years, Dead Island 2 is set to be released in early February. This time, players will find themselves in Los Angeles, which has been overrun with a horde of deadly zombies. Along with a small group of immune humans, you will need to use everything at your disposal if you’re to make it through this grueling and dangerous adventure.
Skull and Bones
Another game that fans have been patiently waiting for is Skull and Bones. With many describing it as an upgraded and far more detailed version of Sea of Thieves, there’s a lot of hype surrounding this pirate adventure title.
You play as a ship’s captain who is looking to be the ruler of the seas, along with your band of salty sea dogs. Players will need to fight off rival pirates, secure treasure, upgrade their ships, and become the crew that is most feared across the Seven Seas.
Starfield
Starfield was set to launch this year but has been postponed until 2023. Considering Bethesda hasn’t had the best run of releases lately, the delay was met with a variety of reactions, but many believe it to be the right move considering just how huge the game world is going to be.
Taking on the role of an explorer, you will start from humble beginnings, but then the vast world will expand across multiple solar systems and galaxies. Who knows what awaits beyond your home planet?
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
There has been very little new news about Kill the Justice League since it was delayed earlier this year; however, an early-to-mid-2023 release is set to happen. The game is an open-world, narrative-driven story where you take on the role of various members of the Suicide Squad.
The villain Brainiac has taken control of the Justice League, and you will need to hunt them down and end their reign of terror. The game will have a heavy co-op focus, but you will also be able to enjoy it solo.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
First announced in 2017, Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action and adventure game set in the backdrop of Avatar. Players will take the form of their own Na’vi warrior as they head to the Western Frontier, a part of the world that has never been seen or explored before.
