Back to School Offer
Apple once again shows its appreciation for students and educators. Apple’s “Back to School” offer is revived again this year. Similar to last year, Apple will bundle a free pair of Beats headphones with the purchase of an eligible Apple product for college. The tech giants announced earlier this week the launch of a back-to-school promotion of sorts, offering students the opportunity to get free Beats headphones with the purchase of an eligible Apple product. Better yet, Apple is offering the deal with education pricing, which features discounted rates on its many devices.
“Shop the Apple Store for Education, save up to $200 on a new Mac, and up to $20 on a new iPad. Education pricing is available to college students, students accepted to college, parents buying for college students, faculty, home school teachers, and staff at all grade levels.”-It says on the Apple web page.
If you buy an iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro or MacBook Air, you get a free pair of Beats solo wireless headphones worth $299. Interestingly, all of Apple’s free headphone giveaways this year are wireless. This is yet another indication that the Cupertino-based company might be considering going away from the analogue 3.5mm headphone jack, a step that has been appreciated and is deemed to be in the right direction by the general public.
Like all good things, they come with Terms and Conditions. For starters, the product you are buying must be eligible. Also, you need to provide proof that you will be attending school/college this year.
Apple’s Back to School promotion runs from today through September 5, 2016, at Apple retail and campus stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. Although we have no news of this promotion going live in European Countries where it was typically offered before. We will keep you posted if we learn more on this subject.
