Late July this year, Apple introduced it’s Back to School 2015 promotion. We covered it extensively on our blog and initially the promotion was limited merely to the retail stores of Apple and that too in selected countries. However on Thursday the Program was made available online and the sale has been extended to other countries as well. Yes, you read that right Apple’s back to school sale is now online!

With this Apple education sale, anyone from students, parents of students and teachers as well as educators will be eligible for a free pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear Headphones (or a pair of Beats Solo2 Wireless On-Ear Headphones at a discount of $200) on buying an eligible Mac which include; iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and Mac Pro. However this year’s sale does not include Mac minis, refurbished Macs, iPads, and iPhones.

You can go to the Back to School Promotion on Apple.com by clicking on the link provided which will redirect you to the Apple Education Store where the particulars of the promotion are detailed. additionally when you view a phone in this store information regarding the Back to School program will also be shared.

Apple has also started to email all recent buyers of Mac to inform them of the promotion. Such customers can easily enjoy this promotion by replying to the e-mail with a shipment address.

On adding any eligible Mac to the shopping cart, customers will be provided with the option to select the Beats Solo2 wireless headphones in a number of color options. These range from Gloss Black, Gloss White, Gloss Blue, Gloss Pink, Gloss Gray, Gloss Red (Product RED), Gold, Silver, or Space Gray. However if you are hoping to buy a Wireless Solo2 with a discount of $200 you will need to add them to your shopping cart yourself. The online promotion is a part of the revamping of Apple.com on Thursday which combined the Apple store with Apple’s official website. The offer will last till 18th September 2015.

This years promotion has proven to be a marked change from the previous ones as previously only iTunes and Apple Store gift cards valued between $50 and $100 were offered to those who bought a Mac, iPhone or and iPad.
