Apple AirPods Available Online
After months of delays and excuses, the news that Apple AirPods Available Online has finally come to be on Apple’s online store. It almost seems unreal after so many rumors and speculation.
The Cupertino-based company has promised that online orders will now be shipped just in time for Christmas. But a new trend has been seen with new Apple products lately. They run out of stock. Therefore, people have been encouraged to get their pair as soon as possible.
“AirPods will be shipping in limited quantities at launch and customers are encouraged to check online for updates on availability and estimated delivery dates. Stores will receive regular AirPod shipments.”
As far as the availability in different regions around the world is concerned, the tech giant clarifies:
“AirPods are available in more than 100 countries and territories including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Japan, UAE, the UK and the US.”-Apple.com
AirPods will be available at Apple retail stores next week. Online delivery estimates indicate customers will receive their units as soon as December 21 in the US. Whereas, some international customers might be getting theirs even earlier, which estimates to be as soon as Monday, December 19th.
The new headphones come at a hefty price of $159 USD. This price tag has been highly criticized by many. But Apple has responded by listing all the ‘groundbreaking’ features the AirPods bring to the table.
“Advanced sensors detect when AirPods are in your ear and can automatically play and pause your music. Double tapping on AirPods activates Siri. This allows you to access your favorite personal assistant to select and control your music, get directions, make and receive calls or perform any other Siri task.”-Apple.com
The prerequisites for using AiPods with an Apple device are using the latest version of iOS 10, watchOS 3 or macOS Sierra.
