Anticipation Of Free AirPods With iPhone 8

iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 is the most anticipated phone of 2017. While Apple did an extremely amazing job with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (especially the camera), many are even more excited about what is to come this fall. Recent Apple quarterly sales reports show that iPhone 7 and 7 Plus sales dropped. Tim Cook stated that it could be because of the high anticipation for the next iPhone which is likely.

What’s Expected

The iPhone 8 is expected to come with a variety of new features. Among them an “infinity display” and a vertical camera. The iPhone 8 is expected to be a complete design overhaul from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.  One that Apple has been using for the past 3 years (the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, 6s and 6s Plus, and the 7 and 7 Plus). Many reports say that it will also come with no home button. Instead, a MacBook Pro-like Touchbar or a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen itself. Apple has been having production issues with integrating the Touch ID sensor into the screen. We will have to wait for the final decision which has not been confirmed.

Free AirPods With iPhone 8

What comes as a surprise to many of those waiting for the 10th anniversary iPhone is that it is expected to ship with free AirPods. The AirPods were released last year after the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Apple had supply and demand issues with the AirPods, an issue that seems to continue with some Apple stores. Some speculate that Apple has been trying to hold back AirPod sales as it stocks them up in preparation to be shipped alongside the iPhone 8 for free. Since the high end, iPhone 8 is expected to have a price of over $1,000, a pair of the $159 earbuds would go a long way for Apple’s customers. In fact, Apple was expected to ship free AirPods with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus but, unfortunately, that did not happen.
